Have you ever wanted to learn a new way to produce maps for reports or the web? This lab style class offers an introduction to Quantum GIS, CartoDB and Geoda, three open source mapping platforms. Bring your laptop and join the American Planning Association for this live training (3 AICP CM credits requested for certified planners). This event will take place at Venturef0rth, a newly renovated coworking space in Philadelphia’s loft district. Venturef0rth provides a comprehensive array of services to help innovative young companies grow and succeed in Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association, (APA-PA) Southeast Section represents the planning profession in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties and the City of Philadelphia. Coffee, tea, water, and cookies will be provided.
